Often, corporate culture is implied, not expressly defined, and develops organically over time from the cumulative traits of the people the company hires. In the modern workplace, leaders know that to get the very best out of their staff, culture cannot be left to chance!
Effective and harmonious teams
Workplaces are changing - generations X, Y and Z are the new leaders within the multi-generational workforce as Baby Boomers are retiring. Managing this cross-generational workforce can create challenges, and the best companies are facing this head on. Leaders are emerging without the vast experience we might once have expected and companies need to be able to both recognise and utilise the new skills that are present in their new workforce. We can work with leadership teams to understand these challenges so your company is not left struggling.
We create a framework, tailored to your individual organisation, to get the best out of your employees by creating a structure of protocols that allow them to get the very best of their teams and utilising the full range of skills of the individuals.
We can identify the work needs of each team member to ensure that teams are centred around a proactive approach of valuing the differences that each person adds to the work process.
Well being programs that actually work
Many companies are using Well-Being programs to show an appreciation for staff. The effectiveness and participation rate of these are often not followed up. We provide - in discussion with you about your company’s needs - a comprehensive range of options for well being, that we monitor and collect feedback data on to ensure you are receiving the value you expect. This can be done solely through us, or in conjunction with your People and Culture Department (formerly known as Human Resources).
Stress becomes an occupational hazard if it adversely impacts on safety and health in the workplace. Often, there is confusion between challenge and stress in the workplace and whilst challenge at work can have positive effects on people, work related stress is an OHS hazard that can pose risks to psychological and physical health. Under the Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004, legislation states that employers must provide and maintain for employees, a work environment that is safe and without risks to health and safety: work related stress, its sources and effects come under that OHS legislation.
corporate social RESPONSIBILITY
74% of employees want to find purpose at work - this means within their role, and increasingly through Corporate Social Responsibility. We can help you with this irrespective of your company size.
Be the company employees dream to work for
*One in seven (15%), or roughly 1.8 million Australian workers based on the number of employed in Australia, are likely to seek a new job this year.
More than two-thirds (67%) of Australian employers say they have seen an increase in staff departures in the past three years with the average turnover standing at 15%.
More than half (57%) Australia’s managers say, despite the fact 96% of companies have measures to avoid staff turnover, they expect turnover to increase over the next 12 months. One in five (21%) believe churn will be “significantly higher”.
Only half of organisations have employee appreciation (50%) and wellness programs (47%),
However, more than half (53%) don’t offer any training and development programs or regularly review salaries (58%).
These statistics show that staff leaving are costing businesses money in recruitment and then training the new employee in their role. If you have a high staff turn over this can be indicative of a problem with your company’s culture.

Creating leaders that lead
We can provide training and coaching for your leadership team to ensure they are leading their teams rather than just managing. This not only empowers their teams, but values contribution creates a culture of trust and collaboration.
We work with companies to form relationships and a culture that does not create conflict. However, conflict can always occur. We can help guide the process of resolution and create the needed protocols that will aim to prevent further issues from arising again.
Work-related mental health conditions (also known as psychological injuries) have become a major concern in Australian workplaces due to the negative impact on individual employees, and the costs associated with the long periods away from work that are typical of these claims. Each year:
7,200 Australians are compensated for work-related mental health conditions, equating to around 6% of workers’ compensation claims
60% of mental disorder claims awarded to workers aged 40 and over
$543 million is paid in workers’ compensation for work-related mental health conditions
20 times more sick days per month taken by workers with severe depression
Our programs will help you to understand and embed a culture that aligns with best practice when creating conditions that prevent and support your employees with regards to mental health issues. We can educate your board and employees with the latest strategies and knowledge on how to deal with mental health issues, firmly believing that prevention and support is better than cure!
